Staying at Duddingston House was an experience that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the atmosphere of tranquility and luxury. The property itself is stunning, nestled in a picturesque location that offers breathtaking views from every angle of Elie Beach. I often found myself looking out onto the water and just decompressing. The architecture and design of Duddingston House perfectly blends modern sophistication with charming, rustic elements, creating an elegant and inviting ambiance. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and furnished with one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The amenities provided were top-notch, including a large kitchen and table, luxury-hotel-quality bathrooms, and amazing views of Elie Beach. I particularly appreciated the private patio, where I could have family and friends over for a nice BBQ in the adjacent hut. ****** 6 STARS! Highly recommended!" S&K S

"We've just had a magical six days with a multigenerational family group of ten at Duddingston House. The house was perfectly and thoughtfully equipped for large parties and had every amenity one could need. The house is in a stunning location with views across the sea and Elie harbour from all major rooms and bedrooms and access to the beach and cliff walks is so easy from the door. The Ship Inn is a short five minute walk away and serves great food. The Elie Deli sells freshly baked breads and pastries, and the Coop in Anstruther caters for everything else. We loved watching cricket on the beach! I highly recommend Elie Select and Duddingston House. We will be back." Lindsay B
"Duddingston House is absolutely beautiful! Extremely tastefully and stylishly decorated with all mod cons, including a BBQ hut in the back garden! Amazing sea views from the house and very comfortable throughout, with plenty of bathrooms which is ideal for a large party - there were 9 of us. A very short walk to the beautiful beach and lovely walks to the lighthouse and along the beach too and the fantastic Ship Inn is less than 5 mins walk away where we had an amazing lunch one day and brunch another day. 10/10 - would definitely recommend and we hope to come back again!" "We recently booked Duddingston House through Elie Select and both the house and the service from Elie Select were fantastic. I can't speak highly enough of either. The house was lovely - spacious, very well appointed and provided a great base for a week's holiday for a family of 5. The booking process was easy and Jamie was incredibly helpful throughout. Deborah met us upon arrival and provided a tour of the house - a thoughtful and personal touch. Jamie braved storms to get us charcoal for the BBQ hut - nothing was too much trouble for him! "We stayed in Duddingston House for the second year and again it was a 10/10 location, house and settings. The house was spotless, the location faultless and the house had all that you would need for a holiday in Elie. Beach towels for sunny days and jigsaws and games for rainy days. A washing machine, tumble drier and clothes drying rack as well as plenty of storage with hangers. We take guests and every one is complementary of the house and it location. The house is spotless, the beds very comfortable and the kitchen fully fitted and well equipped. Elie select are a fabulous company and any questions or issues we have/had were immediately dealt with and the company was always contactable." Iain L
