Discover Bowhouse Market – A Food Lover’s Favourite in the East Neuk
Just a few minutes from Elie, Bowhouse has become one of the East Neuk’s most popular destinations for food, drink and local produce.
Located between Elie and St Monans on the Balcaskie Estate, Bowhouse hosts its renowned Market Weekends on the second full weekend of each month, welcoming some of Scotland’s finest food and drink producers under one roof.
Visitors can browse artisan cheeses, freshly baked bread, local meats, seasonal vegetables, craft drinks and handmade treats while meeting the people who produce them. Alongside the market stalls you’ll often find street food, live music, workshops and demonstrations celebrating Scotland’s rich food culture.
Summer 2026 also brings a programme of special events, including farm tours, cheesemaking masterclasses and outdoor performances, making Bowhouse an excellent day out for visitors of all ages.
