How do I check availability for all houses?

Do we need to bring our own bed linen?

We provide clean hotel quality linen and towels (including beach towels).

Can we get a cleaner for the house?

We can clean the house for you at £16 per hour, if required.

How about shampoo?

We also provide a starter pack, including shampoo, soaps, bin bags, and some wood for houses with open fires or stoves.

Do you provide cots and high chairs?

These can be provided free of charge if you ask us in advance.

Is there an internet connection?

All houses have free WiFi.

What are the check in and check out times?

Check in is at 4pm on the day of your arrival. Check out is at 10am, unless otherwise agreed or if we are dealing with Covid protocols.

Do you have a babysitting service?

We can organise babysitting for guests at a cost of £9 – £12 per hour. Just contact us for more details.

Can extra guests stay in the house?

We do not accept parties bigger than the stated occupancy of the house, but we can arrange for neighbouring houses to be booked if you need more room. Please note that infants in cots are not included in the group number.

Can we hold an event at the house?

We need to agree all events in our houses, so please do contact us in advance to discuss.

Can we bring our dog?

Yes in most houses just ask if you are unsure.  But please note that dogs are not allowed on the furniture or upstairs in any of the houses (except Phoenix House which has its living room upstairs). All dog mess must be cleared up from the gardens during your stay. We allow a maximum of two dogs at any time in West House and Davaar, and one dog in the Blue House, Duddinston House, The Granary, Summer Cottage, Rosemay, The Orangery and Toll Green. Please note there is a £10 extra charge per night for pets.

Can we smoke?

Smoking or vaping is not allowed in any of our houses.

What are the arrangements for bin collection and recycling?

We have recycling organised in each of our houses and would encourage guests to recycle what they can. Instructions are in the Touch Stay folder, where you will also find information on bin collection days. We would very much appreciate it if guests could take out the recycling and/or bins if they become too full in between collections.

How should we leave the house?

Please leave the house as you find it.

When can we expect our deposit back?

We aim to return all security deposits within 3-5 days of your leaving date.

What if we need to cancel our stay?

We realise the unexpected sometimes happens, so please do look at our cancellation policy in our Booking Terms & Conditions when you book.
