Kingsbarns

A pretty village with a lovely distillery and visitor centre, a world class golf course and beautiful gardens.

Once a place where grain was stored before being transported to the Palace at Falkland, Kings Barns (the clue very definitely being in the name) is now a pretty village with a lovely distillery and visitor centre, a world class golf course and beautiful gardens – including a fabulous one acre walled garden – at Cambo House. It also has the prettiest beach in the East Neuk.

Cambo House gardens

There are plenty of lovely spots to grab a bite to eat or drink, from the courtyard café at Cambo to the Distillery café or the pub in the village. If you just want a quick snack on the beach there is a wonderful van with chairs on the sands, perfect after a stroll down through the woods to the sea from Cambo.
